Frequently Asked Questions

Film Photography is an art. It takes skill and technique to produce quality images with a film camera. These images are more true to life than digital images. You can see finer detail, more contrast, and better color. Film images truly have a timeless look.

Lifestyle photography is the opposite of studio photography. Each session is geared more towards organic interactions that really pull out the beauty in each person and family. I do mix in some standard poses, but I don’t offer studio style sessions.

I am a hybrid photographer. All this means is that I capture digital and film images at each session.

Yes. Any regular session can be done in all digital. Contact me for more details.

The amount varies. Typically, sessions that last thirty minutes or less produce about 30 images. Sessions that last over an hour will produce 45 or so images. Weddings and Birth Sessions can be upwards of 200 – 400 images.

Within two days after your session, I will ship all of the film rolls to the lab. Shipping takes 3-5 days. Once the lab receives them, they will be scanned and uploaded to my account for me to download. This ranges from 4-7 business days. With all of this extra work alongside of your digital images, my timeline is three to four weeks.

You have the option of purchasing prints directly from me. Hassle free and high quality. You also have the option of purchasing prints from a third party printer. I highly recommend mpix.com. Shutterfly and SnapFish are also options, but you will most likely be disappointed with the appearance of your prints as they are low quality.

Yes. We can discuss this more during a consultation.
